Epithelial ovarian cancer and borderline tumors during pregnancy

New Publication from the International Network on Cancer, Infertility and Pregnancy

A recent INCIP study examines the oncological and obstetrical outcomes of borderline ovarian tumors and epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosed during pregnancy. The analysis of 129 cases highlights that adhering to standard oncological treatment improves survival rates and reduces relapse risk, while chemotherapy exposure during pregnancy is associated with lower birthweight.
